I just love looking at the kids ornaments the kids have made through the years. I have also made homemade ornaments of pictures of the kids to add to the tree. Every year I always think maybe I want to change my tree but then I look at the kids work and pictures and say no maybe next year.

2 days till Santa

Today was the first day that I walked into a store to do some power shopping for Christmas. Let's just say it didn't go as planned.

I did order some gifts from online that came the other day. So I guess I should say I started shopping last week. Tomorrow I better get back out there and brave the weather and finish up.

I thought I would get done tonight but Jamie wasn't feeling good do I had to pick up some meds and get home.

Today was the last day of work till January 5th 2009. I have off 12 days...I should have planned a trip south for a few days. Poor planning on my part...I will do better next year. I would love to sit on the beach in 80 some degree weather. Santa please take me away!!

I took Jasan and Kailee to have their pictures taken together and they turned out pretty good.

update

I have not updated since my return from Marco. Life has been very busy with moving and work.
Kailee was in a wedding November eight and had a wonderful time. We went early to get our hair fixed and was at the church by 3:00 for pictures.

For now Happy Thanksgiving!!! We went to my moms and ate very well as usual. Then later in the afternoon we went over to Pat's sisters and ate again.
It took everything I had to stay home on black Friday. I knew I needed to stay home and work on getting the house in order.
We also put Christmas decorations up and emptied boxes after boxes.
I don't like the idea of having two houses to to take care of at all. I don't know how people have many rental homes to worry about. That is now for me at all.

Heading Home

Another vacation in Marco is coming to and end. It's bitter sweet...I love this place and I so enjoy spending time with my dear friends. But now it is time to get
back in the swing of family and work.

Kailee misses her mommy and is excited for me to get home to spend the day with her tomorrow. We are going to organize her room in our new house. She did tell me yesterday on the phone that she cleaned my room and hers. So I am excited to see what they look like.

Shopping

We did a little shopping yesterday...O.K...alot of shopping! We shopped for 10 hour and went to 4 stores. The last two stores were the last hour of our trip. It was a great time!

I will be traveling to Marco tomorrow with 2 great friends to spend a week for some Rest and Relaxation. Can't wait!!!!

Echo and Kailee

The last time Echo had the pleasure of holding Kailee was April 15th 2005. We were on the train heading for Hong Kong. Kailee has sure changed last time she was screaming her head off. Kailee only liked me to hold her.

We had our 4th Guiping girl reunion and it was a great time!!

We had good food, great weather and the girls were just amazing to watch.

It is always nice to see them all together and see how they interact with each other.

The bond these girls have will be amazing to watch as they get older.

Jamie leaving for College?

I took Jamie up to the college today to talk to an advisor making sure we have everything in order for him to start his college life in Aug.
We looked at apartments it is really getting real that he is done with High School and moving on to adult hood.
Lets hope the transition is going to be a great experience for him.

I remember bring Jamie home from the hospital just like yesterday.

I liked dressing the boys a like.Can you tell? Ryan and Jamie didn't mind at all when they were small. But now don't even buy the same shirt and different colors.

Casey is done with College, Jamie is starting, Ryan is a senior, Jasan in 8th grade and Miss Kailee will be in Pre school. Just where does all the time go???
