2008 Cedar Rapids Iowa Flood

This is a post of a few pictures I took while driving around looking at the flood damage. I work with 2 gals that have lost their home due to the flood. The pictures are not the same as in person. The smells the feelings that go along as you watch these people throw every thing they own to the curb is so over whelming.

The Red Cross have been awesome in helping the needs of people. I have been helping serve food in one of the shelters. I feel that is the least I can do. The people are so appreciative for all the help.

Jasan and his picture taking!!

Jasan loves to take his picture and put it on his site. He will set the timer and get into place and then he has to look and see if its a "good one" then he will down load it. To funny. These are two of many that he has taken of himself!

I am trying to let Kailee's hair grow but sometimes it drives her and I crazy.

Cooking at grandmas

These picture were taken I would say a few months ago. Grandma and Kailee spend a lot of time in the kitchen when she is there. Grandma is always messing around in the Kitchen and Kailee is right by her side. I enjoy watching them cook together. I am not much of a baker or cook much in the kitchen.

I wanted to add some pictures of Kailee in her dance outfit...I have to take some pictures while she is at dance and add them sometime.
